What is this noise that Nova makes?

When Nova eats I notice she makes a funny noise. It kind of sounds like when you stretch or squeeze rubber her is a video hopefully you will be able to hear it.

I'm no expert, so you will have to wait until others weight in as well. But I think it is nothing. Mine makes that kind of sound too. There is always crunching, munching, squeaking, etc going on. Some times it depends on the food that is being given.

It's either the jaws/beak rubbing together, or air being forced out of the nose. I believe it's jaw rubbing.

my baby makes that noise to, i was so worried but thanks for posting this thank you thank you, i would literaly wait for tobi to yawn so i can check in his mouth and would see nothing, wheeeewww everything is cool LOL

sounds like jungle noises in the background.. monkeys..
she sounds normal.

Mine did that for a little bit too. I assumed it was the beak rubbing. If that's the case it should go away in time. Feed Nova on a slate or something hard and make sure nova has access to a cuttlebone I suppose.
