what is this?

I've seen a male tortoise flash, but what is this? This indian does this when I pick it up from soaking and poops at the same time. Will females flash a little too? Or is this the early signs of an absolute male? It acts like its pushing the poo out, and this is all I ever see.

It just looks like the inside of the cloaca to me. It normally does come out a bit when they poop, but then retracts.

Wonder if its going to turn into a prolapse?

I certainly hope it isn't a prolapse. I posted this in the general section but it got moved. I wish it was back in the general section so I could get some opinions..... I don't think a lot of people look in this section.
