I use the ZooMed Powersun MVB 100 watt bulb. What should the reading be on the SolarMeter 6.5 for hatchling Russian Tortoises? I want to make sure that they are getting enough UVB (and not too much), and when the bulb should be replaced.

This article (link) gives some great information on UV requirements for reptiles.

I would find the Ferguson Zone of the species you keep and then try to achieve the UV range for that Zone.

The middle to end of the article linked has a list of species and the corresponding Ferguson Zone.
The article also gives information of species actually observed in the wild at average and extreme UV levels.

I would use this information to determine your target UVB levels.

A good guideline is approximately every 6 to 9 months is a good time to replace the bulb :)
