wild African Violet maybe?????

Folks, this grows every year beside my house , but I 've never thought anything about it. Since we have Rhino now it looks like potential food. Does anyone know what this is and if it is safe?

I believe that's vinca. I can't remember which vinca is toxic - vinca or vinca minor.

I googled it and it says both are toxic.
