Tortoises are not bowling balls. They have natural texture to them. I think it is a gorgeous tortoise, living that's life in the wild like it should be. Hopefully it can stay that way.

You both need your eyes adjusted. He is not soooo smooth. He is pyramided! Slightly, yes, but I think some of our members are growing soooo smooth ones.
Very nice looking leopard anyway and very cool that he was captured on film.

My eyes suck, nothing I can do about it. But I think that tortoise just shows that sometimes pyramiding does happen in wild tortoises and that it's OK. I have seen Photos of wild alsabras with pyramided shells also.
