Oops forgot his house in the making. Not finished yet that's why it is still in the garage. Roof needs to be shingled and secured this weekend, ramp and paint. It's 3 x 4 and highest roof line is almost 3 ft slanted down to 2 1/2 ft...

hi, willie is so cute , love the hat picture. how long have you had willie? my female tortoise has a nice personality.the male is fun to watch but , doesnt like the attention like the female does. willie looks like alot of fun.

Thanks. Willie has been living with us for almost 3 months. The house is huge I think my husband plans on moving in with him, all it's missing is a tv. Tom we have the inside insulated and skinned but we left a large square area around the inside of the door so that it can be cut and made larger without my hassle. The house was designed after one you had on a thread. the Christmas hat picture was part of our Christmas card and to get him to look up for the camera we gave him a strawberry treat which of ourselves he wears and it looked like lipstick/ red nose witch made the camera come back out. My kids were just grateful that I was chasing something else with the camera...

This is willies outside enclosure. It's not as big as we would like it but he does get a lot of yard time when we are home. It is designed to be able to be made bigger in time. It was built before we actually got him so we had to judge how big. And of course you can see I'm near the pen so he left his cactus pad to check me out and I was cracking up because he has goo all over his face which now has dirt stuck to it, the nice thing is he will just sit while I wipe it off. I'm not sure if he is a boy for sure has never flashed anything. His little tale wags sometime but nothing like what others have described.
