winter enclosure is all ready

Thanks to all for helping me track down some cypress bedding. Here we have the pool. Basking spot right at 90 . Humidity ranges from 80 to 60 percent. The hid we be changed tomorrow when I buy something at the show.... I can't wait to get my little RF tomorrow. He is only 10 months old..... so excited

I am such a noob..... its just high in the moss, but misting the cypress mulch and the moss it stays pretty high. The ambient humidity in the house is 50-60 with the AC on. But I'm still learning, if I need to I'm gonna build a humidifier and plumb it into the pool.

I cover my enclosure with plexiglass, but just about any material covering the top would greatly improve humidity retention.

What about airflow and your UV lighting.

Scroll down the pictures a little ways and you'll find a shot of the entire enclosure. You'll notice I have the UVB long-tube in the center of the enclosure in a wooden box that is not obstructed by any glass or wire mesh. I use a Reptisun 10.0 due to the distance from the tortoises. They are fed under this in the mornings.
