I have a male and a female Leopard, they have side by side pens both indoors and out. The Female stays at about the same moderate activity level all year. But the male is different, during the summer he is on the go constantly but he slows down every winter. The outdoor pens are each about 1/2 acre and even at that size you can even see the difference in the vegetation between the two sides.
I worried about Happy every year, even taking him to the vet. But now I think he is just resting up from his summer activity. He still eats, not as much, and I give him a warm bath every second or third day.
I cant wait until they can start going out again.
