Have a question mostly aimed toward people that have turtles and lizards that eat worms. I want to buy a bunch and was seeing if anyone has ever bought them online and what's a good company to go with. I even looking and there are a bunch of feed sites, figure someone else has a review or recommendation

I ordered horn worms and super worms from Great Lakes Horn Worms. Very happy. I bought the superworms, 500 count. That was back on Feb22. I haven't taken the best of care of them, but they have done really well and have not lost very many at all. The horn worms, which I have purchase twice so far, also do very well. I have even ordered eggs both time and always had them hatch out no problem.

What is your secret to keeping super worms alive. We carry then at my work, and usually sell through them pretty quickly, but sometimes when we get too many sent we can not keep them alive for any longer than a week. Then they start to die off.

I was thinking you wanted night crawlers? If so, try Knutson's Decoys. They come in a nice pack of 100 that fits in the fridge nicely.

Not the best of care I think LOL. I just have them in a plastic box with lid. Holes cut out of lid. I use cheap oatmeal and corn meal for a substrate, kinda deep. I feed potatoes, cabbage, carrots, once or twice a week. Make sure they stay dry. I also lay a couple paper plates on top for the food to go on and for them to climb in and out. I just cleaned the whole box out today. Otherwise I just throw out the food when it looks eaton and brown which doesn't take long. They are kept in my house at house temps, 68-72 winter. I really didn't think they would live this long.

Thanks for the tips. I think its because ours are stored in a warm kitchen and may get too hot.
