i have been trying to find out if russians can eat zuccini or not? thanks judy

Hi Judy:

Most tortoises will eat zucchini. Just a note of clarification: What we call vegetables, just might really be a fruit. Vegetables with seeds in them are really fruits. So zucchini is a fruit and fruit should be fed as a treat and very sparingly.

ok but ive also heard dont feed carrots either, thats deff a veg, but it's the sugars that are the problem from what i hear. mine get Zuch and carrots only when mine in the fridge are about to go bad or i just wanna give him a treat. it should only be like less than 5% of their diet from what i have read. some ppl say NO altogether but come on if a wild one was cruising along and found some fruit you know he'd eat that thing right up probly.

the only FRUIT i know i have heard ppl say is either ok or ok in moderation is prickley pear cactus fruit

At 5%, none of that stuff will kill them.
