Thank you.He looks so good!
How old are your sullys? I just adopted mine in december and found this forum in my studies. I consider her more of a rescue than an adoption or "buy" because of where they had her in this fish store, a 500 gallon aquarium with 4 other little tortoises of different breeds. She was the largest and just hid in the corner. Come to find out she was one of the employees originally and i feel all the ino he gave me was a lie. She is supposedly 7yrs old but only weighs around 25lbs. She has pyramiding and lived in a 2' x 2' box for how ever many years she has actually been alive. is there anyway to figure out her age? She was a mess and im still learning but i know she is still much better off.
I love seeing all the pics. There all georgous. We are so lucky that were crazy enough to keep these Giants as pets. So rewardingBomber. Told he was 11 a year and half ago when we took over his care. He is 24" x 18" straight measurements. "Waistline" is 47" and as best I could weigh him without handles, a little over 80 pounds. He has 5 1/2" ground clearance and by looking at his cactus, Bomber's mouth can reach about 16" above ground. If you can view the video, he's taking a shortcut through our backyard cottage's living room on the way to his night area after some grazing.
