Unexpected new Indian Star!

I have a new, very unexpected baby Indian Star Tortoise. I lost Sterretje last year due to Hatchling Failure Syndrome and this hatchling is for compensating. I did not expect that any more after so long. But of course he or she is very welcome!!
And look at the pictures... This little star has irregual scutes!! I had seen him before and found him beautiful with the different scutes. (Turt, my Elongata has them too.) Never thought he would be mine though. No one would pic him, he was sold before, but that person did not want him. And choose another at the end. And no one else would pic him.
I came to speak about how I lost Sterretje and that I was still sad about it. And now this special little one is mine. It was a very strange day yesterday!!
He weights 39 gr. Which is already more then Sterretje ever did. He is very alert and active. He ate during the car ride home. Sterretje was never so eager to eat.
He is very shy, but he is an Indian Star so... Indu my other Star is not at all shy anymore, so I think that will be ok.

Y have u kept that tortoise in too much of water
He will die from respiratory infection when water will go inside his/her lungs
Soak it for 10 to 15 minutes and use little water so tortoise's nose don't get dip in that water

Thank you for your concern... It is not to much water, I think the picture is deceiving. And I always watch my Tortoises when I give them a bath. I know what I am doing. But again, thank you for your concern!

Mitesh, you are giving wrong information. Please read the care guide in the star forum to educate yourself.

To the OP, beautiful hatchling! Keep up the daily soaks, follow the 80/80 rule and it will become a beautiful animal in no time.

@Yvonne G I know you love the different scutes like I do. Did you see my new Indian Star yet? Gorgeous right?! I had never seen it on a Star before, have you? Not even in pictures on the internet. Maybe it is not that common in Stars, I don't know.

Ok, I will ask @Tom and @Markw84. Did you ever see irregular scutes in Indian Stars? I haven't, not even in all the Indian Star pictures I collected from the internet.
I did find an old thread from someone who had a Star with irregular scutes. And two of my little Stars clutchmates have it. But that's it.
Just wondering...

Of course others who know the answer are also welcome to reply. *glimlach*

It would be interesting to see how the scutes develop when he gets older. With the star lines, I wonder how that will look.

Hmm, I understand.
I have another suggestion for a name: ""Indira".
Fits perfectly to "Indu":D
