I took a 2‘ x 4’kitchen table put wood around the top and built a cabinet underneath for equipment/storage. Still need to add lexan to raise the sides up 12 inches. Fog machine is just to add a little humidity. I keep it no more than 45%

How do you plan to attach the Lexan? You've done a nice job. I like it. Once you have the sides taller it will be perfect! If you have trouble keeping the WHOLE thing warm enough, you may want to consider putting a top on it and enclose the whole thing.

I don't see your lights/heat?

I think maybe I'm missing something here.

I love the table. You made it beautiful.

But isn't this a baby that should still be in a closed chamber? I think I see a dome above the back right corner, but how about UVB and humidity?

Or is the tortoise older than it looks to me?

No, still a baby. There is a 160w mercury vapor bulb in a dome over the table that is on a timer set sun up to sun down and a heat pad under the substrate that is set to 85 degrees F. I do live in the Central Valley of California which is pretty close to the environment that marginated live in nature. I’ve done my diligence to give this tortoise a good environment to live in.

I cut a channel in the wood for the lexan. Yes that was I mistake to miss the light in the picture. I do have a 160W mercury vapor bulb and a heat mat set at 85% he seem to be happy but I will continue to keep an eye on him I definitely want to give him a long and happy life.
