I payed a visit to markw84 this last weekends to pick up some Burmese star young-ins. Very excited to have them! Was very comfortable getting them from mark and want to tell anyone considering using mark for your tortoise needs to do it! He is truly a great tortoise breeder! I also got one of his smart enclosures and am very pleased with it as well. (Already have the next one on order haha). Anyway that’s enough of a Commercial haha now pictures right?!?!?!24F116FD-62B0-4F92-B585-39DAD835FAAE.jpegD4ACB3CC-E7BF-438B-B7C3-08E935E4FA45.jpeg

Is there a good guide anywhere that describes the differences or how to identify Burmese and Indian stars?

I’m sure there is somewhere though I don’t know of one. As adults the size difference is a key and they have a little different look thought as babies I think the best way may be to know the breeding

I know I’ve read that before but forgot it was there let alone the info in it. Thank you for sharing! I’ll have to look closer at both species tomorrow at bath time and see the differences.

Also @Tom breeds Burmese Stars. I think there may be more but I can't remember who they are.
