Odd behavior??

I find our Mississippi Map Turtle wedged between a rock and the tank glass. She does not move much but when we check she does. Is this normal behaviour?

Most likely gives her a sense of comfort especially if she is a hatchling. You could give here caves plants and other structures to provide this as well.

I wish I had some wisdom to share, but I haven’t experienced this with any of my turtles. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maybe the tank is too open, like Double D above has said. Can we see pictures of it? Perhaps you need to add more cover - floating and planted plants, a cave, etc.
