Hi,
I have a 1 year old Horsefield. My humidity sits around 50 and rarely below and rises at night after his bulb and uv light are turned off. The it can get as high as 70.
Should I be worried about these readings in anyway?

No they are fine. If you can get it a bit higher, 80% during the day, that would be better. Covering the enclosure is the easiest way to keep humidity and temps steady.

I've just ordered some

Repti Bark Natural Reusable Substrate as I heard it helps with humidity, so il just cover a quater of his viv up with that. I've never been on a forum before and learnt more in 24hrs than I have in over a year, so thank you!!

I mean to cover the top of the enclosure with like a plastic tent you can rig up to keep heat and humidity in.

I have a 4ft Vivarium. The humidity stays around 50 in the day and once the heat is switched off it jumps up. Sorry I'm repeating myself 😄. I've already told you that. He was on hemp substrate and I swapped it for aspen and loves the stuff. I ordered

Repti Bark Natural Substrate as it good for holding moisture and not getting moldy

Those numbers would be great for an adult, but a little too low for a growing baby. Babies do best in a large vivarium until they put some size on.
