Hi guys, i just got an 8month old leopard tortoise 5 days ago and since i got it, its poop is somewhat not solid with a bit of what i think is a transparent thingy? Since i got it, i am feeding jute mallow, mustard green, kale, ultima pellets and some catgrass mix today. Im just wondering if i should be worried and what do i need to get checked out?

Temperatures are good and soaking it about 20-30mins everyday.

My leopard tortoise also eats A LOT but sleeps most of the time as well.

Attached pictures are from different days.

Thank you guys in advance.

I think it looks fine. Maybe grow some additional grass and cut it up and sprinkle it heavily on her food? My leopards would look like this without a lot of grass. Yours is young so my advice may be off. But leaves and grass give mine the best poops. That said I consider good poops to be the kind that don’t smell and can be hosed into the ground and not picked up. Ha!
Can you get access to moringa? Hibiscus? I feed those daily as well as rose leaves and grape leaves when those are available. I feed her orchard grass and about a half ton of cactus pads a week. As for grocery store greens I do mostly endive and escarole and the occasional romaine and I use Food Fixer.

Thank you for your reply, its my first time to own a leopard and got scared when its poop was different from my sulcata.

I already ordered hibiscus and mulberry plants to have a better diet for them.

Again thank you so much 😊
