When they tumble out of the mother, they roll around and rotate. There is some period of time after laying, or possibly before development begins in the case of diapaused eggs, that is is okay to rotate them. Some say 24 hours, others says 48 hours. I've never experimented to find the answer. If the egg was cold in the ground and had not begun development when you rotated it, the egg should be okay.She knows that. I didn’t know so it was rotated. I only had it for a day after finding it in the ground. I hope I didn’t cause it to have something wrong.
