Hi, my name is Victor I live in southern colorado. I recently recieved a baby Sulcata as a christmas gift from my wife. I am extremely excited about raising him/her I have wanted one since I was about 4 years old. I have him on a substrate of coco coir and orchid bark. His habitat is closed and the temperature is about 80 cold side, 90-95 warm side, and about 105 basking rock. The humidity stays between 75 and 80 right now but I'm going to wire in a humidifier on a sensor to keep it closer to 90. He gets soaks 2-3 times a day and sprayed 4 or 5 times a day (my toddler loves spraying him). He's on a diet of greens and hay right now because of lack of grass and weeds in the lawn. I get him to eat hay by mushing it with cactus he seems to like it. He loves cactus. I give him calcium with d3 right now since I can only let him in the sun for short periods when the weather allows it. I named him/her Prometheus.View attachment 258849View attachment 258850View attachment 258851View attachment 258852View attachment 258853View attachment 258854GEDC0618.jpeg

Thanks, I have spent the last week reading everything I could find on the forum. I didn't know anything about caring for him until my wife informed me she was going to get him for me as a gift.
