Shipping tortoises from Italy to the US

Hi all,

I have 12 Testudo hermannii and graeca that I need to ship from Italy to the US (Michigan). Does anyone have experience with a reputable and trustworthy shipping company? I am very nervous about this long trip, especially for my oldest one who is about 80 years old, and want to keep them safe.

Forgot to add, I am aware of all the paperwork and already have the CITES export permit (working on the American-side import permit now).

Contact shipyourreptiles and reptiles2you and see what they do and or suggest
You can also try to contact toucanjungle in CA. I don't remember the guys name. But he gets tortoise from another country shipped in.

shipyourreptiles doesn't do this kind of shipping and am waiting to hear back from reptiles2you. UPS and FedEx are not an option because the animals are on the endangered list so the options are limited...I just want my babies with me, I wish I could take them on a plane, maybe one by one
