I am making a flower bed with bark and am curious if this will be safe? She is not based in this area but in case she gets let into the other half of the garden will this be safe?

Or would this be better?

Thanks in advance

We need to know what is in it. Is there an ingredients list? If not, we can only guess.

I'd keep the tortoise out of the flower bed area one way or the other.

It just says mixed conifer unfortunately.

I’m placing a 12” half round fence in the way to discourage her but she will be spending minimal time in that part of the garden anyway. Do you think that will be enough?

A 12 inch tall see-through barrier will not stop a sulcata.

Can we see a picture of your tortoise?
What size and weight? Age?
Thanks.

She claimed the dogs bed just for clarity that’s not for her lol. She is 9 years old next month. Last weighed in about 15kg but that was nearly a year ago.
