I live in the same general area. We have a weed here that is like a dandelion but with bigger leaves. I can't remember what it is called but when I first showed it on the forum I was told it was healthier than dandelions because it wasn't high in oxalates.
I'm jealous of all those flowers! I'm glad Charlie likes the leaves because I don't get that many flowers. My neighbors on both sides both have huge hibiscus trees that hang over the fence. I cut a lot of that for him.
