Hi guys! I've got a home's hingeback tortoise, but he seems to only like grocery veggies! However, I would really like him to try weeds, flowers, Mazuri, etc., but he has absolutely no interest! If I mix it with other foods, he will just pick out what he likes. Any suggestions on how to encourage him to eat those foods? Or to use the cuttlebone cuz he has no interest in that either :/ Thanks guys!

you can scrape the cuttle over his food. also try chopping up new food in small bits and mix in with current foods, i call it the stelth approach lol.

Hello Jroy
View attachment 141753you can try what I do I take egg shells dry them out over night and run them through a coffee grinder so they are a powder and feed them instead of cuddle bone . And cut the food up small good food and the other food ( but like a child you have to be the boss ) the tort will not starve ( and the child will not dye from his peas )
