Hi. Just took a couple of above shots of his shell while bathing. Would you say he looks generally healthy he is 12/13months old . I just wondered about the white lines / markings between his shell segments. Is this normal in a baby? Thanks.

On this forum I have been advised to use these bulbs. I just thought I would double check now this comment is stating otherwise. So confusing on here.

So I am looking to buy the two bulbs in the images below. To replace a 'red uv 50watt ' And a and a 'coil 13w' daylight bulb. Is this a good option. And would I still leave one of the new ones on through the day?

So I've stepped up his enclosure a little... I've added orchid bark as the base which sits on his old composite mix... added carex & sempervivem real plants embedded into the mix And put him a piece of slate in to feed from I've kept his old water bowl as I don't know what else to use as a...

So briefly last 48 hours he's not been doing much not eat. Not roaming like normal. Thought this type don't go into hibernation is this possibly what he's doing ?

Thanks... So I know it's hard to say without seeing him in person but is he ok? Healthy ? We have literally just got him from the pet shop today. Should I make his dirt even more wetter then it is. Like slutchy? I'm so confused with all the info

Done that .... to the extent I thought was sufficient didn't want to drown it in water

So I'm putting water directly into the dirt in his tank?

Also is he ok in a glass tank a few people think it's not good for them?
