So long story short I am moving out of my current house to a apartment for 6 months then in to a bigger house with a better garden, my hermann will have no access to a garden for 6 months which in the uk it is going to be cold for these months but I am worried about how I am going to get weeds...

My hermann has stopped eating and is sleeping a lot, is he looking to hibernate or is something wrong? He will eat some tortoise pellets if I offer him them but other than that he will not touch any of his weeds or any of his favourite food

I don't really understand why I should soak my tortoise? I know because he is 2 there isn't any need to do it very often but other than encouraging them to poop is there any benefits to doing it and can you soak to often?
