Just read this from July ... sad but true.....

This sort of thing is the reason I quit watching 'To Catch a Smuggler.'

Too many live animals get smuggled and more than half of them don't live through the trip. One old man had birds in tiny little prescription pill bottles. It's all so sad and haunting...

From Tanzania to Bangkok to Ethiopia, with Bangkok just being a transfer. The itinerary alone would be suspect. I hope the tortoises survived.

Wow, I just got time to click on it and read the article. It's even worse for these, being sold for their shells. It takes a real psycho to want to kill an animal just for it's hide/coat/shell/horns or whatever parts they think they need.

The exotic pet smugglers are bad enough, but this is even more unconscionable.
