I have a 6 month old cherry head, I was wondering if I could put another 6 month old of the same size in the same enclosure. Wondering your thoughts I have heard lots of conflicting information. [emoji217]
Tortoises should never be kept in pairs. Adding one to the other's enclosure is likely to result in problems. Even if they are not outright attacking each other, it is very stressful for both to live as a pair. Groups usually do okay, but not always. Don't forget your 6-12 month quarantine.
We had a member ignore this advice a couple of years ago and came back 6 weeks later asking what to do because the one tortoise had bitten off the whole tail and part of the back leg of the other.
