I just adopted 2 10 year old red footed tortoises and a 5 year old about 6 months ago . They all 3 would stay close together in their enclosure . The last two weeks, the two older (one male-one female) have been separating themselves from the younger tortoise. Any input about this?

How big are your torts, I've noticed that my bigger reds don't like it as hot as the smaller ones, are they going to a cooler area.

did you quarantine the new tort for 6 months?

You know...I just put an additional heat lamp on because it's so cold in Cincy. I bet that's it.
