A couple questions (about a CHE and waterproofing)

Ok my dad and I are building a new enclosure for my RT, and i have some questions:

1: is this a good Che?

2: I've seen all different threads about this, but what is the best way to waterproof wood? I need a specific product that I can buy/order. Could my dad and I paint the inside?

As far as I know, there isn't a bad CHE. Yes, you can paint it, I would use outdoor paint or marine paint.

The out door paint and marine paint is what I was suggesting for the water proofing. Otherwise you can use polyurethane or line it with plastic, pond liner or some have even used shower curtain liners.
