Something told me, Frans, go and check on Zvezda, I thought she's fine, but I still went outside and I found she was chewing on something, she stood over a fresh pile of poop, she spat this out
And continued, digging in the poop. I am cleaning the habitat as we speak, but it seems the plastic was in her poop?
She's fine also, almost gave me a heart attack! (The plastic is about 0.5 cm in diameter)

Foreign objects like this are big problems in outdoor enclosures, since they can be hard to spot. There is a thread over in the Radiated forum where a young tortoise suddenly started bleeding from the mouth and later died. When they did a necropsy, they found she had ingested a twist tie that was in the enclosure.

Glad your tort is OK. It's good that you're checking the enclosure.

Our two Hermann females have the run of the garden. We also have a Cockapoo dog. The dog will eat the tortoises food, even cucumber, if he gets a chance but one of the tortoises, the young 10 year old, will eat any dog or bird poo it comes across! The old 61 year old doesn't have this nasty habit but has been known to eat slugs and worms if it finds any. We have to watch the dog if he is in the garden and immediately clean up or stop him eating the food. It sounds like tortoises aren't too choosey with what they will eat.
