Hi,

I finally put all the photos from this summer in photobuckets. I'm going to miss her when she goes into hibenation. She's definitely starting to slow down.

Here's Penelope's new trick--going through a cinder block tunnel to get to her dandelion :D

Here she is with dandelion mustache

Here she is stumping on alyssum and pansies. She eats some of them.

Here she is looking for trouble in her pen. Do you see that she digs and likes to hide under the log?

Penelope is a very pretty tortoise. Your pictures capture her personality.

That's it I have to get Dale a brick or a rock or something to keep him busy like Penelope. She looks so happy in your yard roaming around everywhere. I think she's really a cutie. :)

I love the name Penelope! She seems very good at entertaining herself and her keepers!

Taco has a cinderblock in her enclosure as well, and she likes to just hang out inside ("if I can't see you, you can't see me either!");)

I use those 8 by 8 by 16 cinderblocks in my enclosures, they make great hides and something for them to crawl around for entertainment.

The pics are great! You really get a sence of Penelope's personality. I love the last picture. I make me wonder, what are they thinking about?

Thank you all for the nice comments. I don't know how Pio can sit so pretty in her perfect garden while most torts my Penelope included stump on everything edible or not. hee hee. I think Penelope thinks she's a sulcata.
