Hey guys. I am looking to adopt one or two red footed tortoises. I have checked out a few breeders that were recommended on this forum and of the ones that responded were done for the season. So, if any of you have or know of any adoptable red footed tortoises please let me know. Thanks :D

I'm located in CT. I am willing to drive though. All of the people I talked to about adopting were very far from me, so it's been an issue finding a new tort.

For some reason I thought you were in Florida.
Florida is a REDFOOT hot spot.
You'll want to look for one that is about three years old and older to house outside. (Unless you've done this before)
The larger, the easier to care for. IMO.
If you get two, make sure that they are both female. You don't want two males or just one male and one female.
It's best to just keep one. If you want more later, use the formula of one male for every three or more females.
Almost no-one recommends keeping two tortoises.
And these tortoises love to walk. They'll need lots of room.
