I've adopted a 5year old tortoise that the owner couldn't care for anymore and I want to make sure he gets all that he needs.
I made him a custom enclosure in an insulated shed in my backyard and I want to know if I did well and if not what I should change.
Extra info: 1 uvb Light, 1heat Light 50W, ceramic heater of 50W and in the hide there is another heat source that is always regulated at around 30°C
For substrate I used 10cm of plant soil with a 6cm bark substrate on top the soil is to keep the humidity at a higher level than the bark would be able to. I spray the enclosure daily in the corners and under the lamp for the quick humidity boost.
