So I just got a baby sulcata, affectionately named Pineapple. I got him 4 days ago and "he's" been doing good.... maybe. He eats ALOT. His perferred food is romaine lettuce and he eats those orange square thingies. I keep the temp 80-100 degrees usually. One side will be a 100 ~ and the other 80~. Same at night. Am I doing good so far? He sleeps alot too. After eating he'll just lay down and sleep. Normal?
Also today I heard him "chirp" once and he kinds hissed too. Just once tho. Is this normal? Help!

Less lettuce, more weeds and leaves of various plants if possible. I don't know what the orange things you describe, so I can't comment on those.

Hello and Welcome. Your temps are good but with 80% humidity, so get the humidity up there. A much better diet is also needed. Toms great threads for raising a sulcata are also located at the bottom of this post. Please read them and adjust accordingly.
