So I finally figured out what is going on with bumper. I've had her for almost two weeks now and she only goes when I take her for a ride in the car. So I was reading up on the food and diet looking for a good laxative figuring she is just a little backed up from the stress of moving. So I was reading a post by seiryu and some answers were pumpkin, aloe vera plant and fruit. Then it hit me! DUH!! The lady gave her like a strawberry a day plus apple and bell pepper and other things that aren't leafy. She was backed up because she used to have a daily laxative. I feel so bad for her, so I'll go pick up her favorite berry and see if that'll help. ANY FRUIT THAT WILL WORK BEST? I want to try to wean her off fruit except as a treat cuz her poop is disgusting. When she went it the car it smelled like the zoo, which doesn't bother me cuz it's not like my .... doesn't stink, but there was no hardness at all and I could see fruit remnants. Any way I'm just happy that I might have figured out the mystery to her being backed up. Oh and I tried pumpkin and she wouldn't touch it. She just liked to walk in it. And I give her a nice long warm soak multiple times per week. And she is urinating.

I've not heard of this before, but at least you have it figured out. I do know that aloe very plant will loosen her up some and mine will eat as much of it as I put in the pen. I'm sure you can wean her off this stuff over time. It's only been 2 weeks, so just keep doing it slowly.

Good luck! :p

Jessica, a Leo like Bumper needs a diet high in fiber that is what keeps her/his bowels moving. If he had runny poo that had pieces of fruit he is not backed up, he is cleaned out. That is why you see the undigested fruit. I do not remember the age or size of your Leo but he needs time to acclimate to the new situation he is in. JMHO

Well thanks crazy I didn't think of it that way. Well I have completely changed her diet. I dont think it was too drastic because she was getting spring mix before just with A LOT of other fruits and veggies. I am really gonna try to get her on grass this winter. She is at least 10 years old i'm thinking more like 15, and she's only about 11 lbs. So I guess I need more fiber. I'm just kinda freakin out cuz she has really only gone like three times since I got her and her previous owner said she was VERY regular.

Man oh man, Horta just let go after 2 weeks of no poop and it was quite the scene. I'm in the same boat - he had been getting almost a daily laxitive in his old house! After much posturing he finally started eating pellets instead of greens every day.
I hadn't heard about soaking being a cure for constipation, though... thatnks for the tip!
