How long does it take the little ones to "break out"? Is there some point where you get involved and help them to get out, or do you just let them hang out till they complete the process themselves?....sorry for so many ?'s

TZ....
... no worries ...what this forum is about ...:D
Generally it takes 2-3 days for little ones to emerge from the egg completely . Although this is no where near a " golden rule" just like hatching times , there are many exceptions. Some neo-nates welcome the new world with a bang and are out in 24hrs. Others ..ease into things....it's fascinating nonetheless to see a living thing burst, crawl, peek and pip out of a shell that has been incubating for 4-5 months....and just the whole concept of development within the egg ...a " solo entrapped" resource to sustain a single cell into a Life Form.
