LOL. Maybe we should just start one thread for this stuff.

Anyhow, I measured my 2.5 year old GPP this afternoon. I like to touch base here and see how mine compares.

As of today, the tort weighs 5lbs 5oz. From front to back, the plastron is 8.5 inches.

This tort really seems to have exploded since I built a much larger indoor setup.

And a side view.

What do you guys think? Maybe some light pyramiding? There's an indentation between two of the front scutes on the carapace. I soaked him quite a bit and kept him as humid as I could. Hope you guys like him.

you did a great job, and agreed with the post above, i dont see any pyramiding but since its black between the scutes i dont expect to see it anyways. haha. i just rescued a Leopard yesterday/earlier today and hes in bad shape. hes about six, and pretty much the same size as yours here.

Thanks, guys. It means a lot to hear the positive comments on here from other keepers. This is my first tortoise. It's been easily the most labor intensive reptile keeping experience I've ever attempted, but it's all been very much worth it.

All of the good words are just even more incentive to keep working hard and improving.
