I recently replaced the dirt in my tort's enclosure, only to see the place crawling with small ants today in my room. I will change it as soon as possible (both for the tort's sake, and because I don't want them in my house!), but out of curiosity: do ants (non-fire or biting ants) pose any threat to tortoises?
