Found these in my back yard, was wondering if any of it is edible.

I am really bad a plant IDing. You can check on the tortoisetable.org to see if they have them listed. You can look them up by color and name.

It doesn't appear to be spider plant to me either, it may be spider plant, but all of the ones I grow have white on the edges of the leaves.

2 is a fern- not edible
3 is some sort of succulent- I was going to say ask Yvonne
4 I don't know this one either. I sometimes take samples to a local nursery for positive ID.

The original spider plant doesn't have the white edges, but spider plant doesn't have the thick brown stem in your picture, so I also doubt if it is spider plant.

4 looks like some sort of lamiaceae (mint and sage family)

agree that 1 does not look like spider plant

Ok, I take it back. There is an all green spider plant, but upon closer inspection of your picture that's not it. Some sort of lily, like Tom thought. Maybe lily of the nile??

I thought ferns where edible . Or is it just Boston ferns.

It is lily of the nile. I have those in my back yard. Sorry, I should have elaborated a bit more.

Mike, to the best of my knowledge ferns are not edible. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Botany is not my strong point, although I am trying to improve.
