The last two were on a website which had unsafe items too so I just want to check

I think @Littleredfootbigredheart uses habistat bark and it is safe. In terms of the coco coir, I would go with the URGO XL one since it is non buffered. It is always best to go with those with no additives when it comes to tortoises.

Yeah despite finding out our orchid bark in the uk is in fact pine not Douglas, I did some more in depth research and found it to be safe, least as far as I could tell, if you do want to read into a little more, you could read this thread I posted
