Is this normal or is this the start of pyramiding? I keep humidity at or above 80. Sometimes it will be 78-79 when I get home from work but I get it back up immediately. I tried to get all angles so u can see details. It's like there is a little "ditch" between their scutes.
This is alfie.

I don't see the slightest sign of pyramiding.

I hope not. I read something last nite that said if they have the "ditch" between their scutes it's the starts of pyramiding.

If so, it's likely due to the start given by the breeder! They're young enough that you can nip it in the bud NOW! Being in a humid area helps...so you have less work to do than others! Just soak 'em twice a day...just like the Sudans...and it'll even out over time. But their growth looks great!

It's been pretty humid last couple days cause of the heat storms we been getting. I do believe the Sudan are starting to like their Tennessee digs. I will start soaking the quads twice when I soak the Sudans. I started spraying the Sudans through out day like I do the quads. I will eventually get everyone on same schedule. Lol.
