What do you mean 'messy'? That goes with keeping tortoises.
Are you more concerned with what you consider 'messy'.. or more concerned with what's best for your tortoise? I'm serious! It wasn't a few hours ago they were enjoying the hay.. and now that's not what's most important.. to YOU.
YES.. I'm indignant because it seems the love of these tortoises does not come first and foremost.. the "keepers"? convenience does - and because others are feeding that ego and emotion instead of encouraging you to do what's best for the torts. Keep the hay!!! Your tort will thrive soooo much better.

Use your imagination and do better by them. I am not going to do the research to tell you what they need. YOU need to research to see what they need and you need to set them up bigger and better.
