Average Weight Gain

My little guy is doing great and eats non stop. I was wondering what the average weight gain should be? I am weighing him once per week. This week he had a 3g increase. Is this average. He is 6 weeks old today. Thanks in advance.

As he grows, the weigh gains will increase, as well, until he/she gets to adult size, then the weigh gains will more or less stabilize.

Make a little chart and write down each weighing and the date...you'll see what I mean.
