Basking light inside redfoot tortoise cage

So I'm in the process of building my 4 inch baby redfoot a tortoise table and it is going to be made from a bookshelf and custom walls and plexi glass walls and front doors. I'm in a hesitate state on what to do with the lighting source do I put the basking lamps inside the enclosure a foot off the ground or do I keep them on the outside ? Redfoots need humidity and I have a monsoon misting system that I will be using for humidity and I don't want moisture or water to get on the bulb and make it explode inside the exclosure if I'm not home to witness it because I don't want the house in flames my mom will be super cheesed What are you opinions L3.5ft W3ft H4ft what are your suggestions & opinions thanks!

I think they like it warm and not bright... CHE might be better.. but not sure...
