Working on creating a basking spot for my two RES.
I have a pond...that is indoors, much to cold outside in MI (currently 12 without the wind), I am attempting to use a piece of plexiglas. I shall see if it holds the weight of my female RES.
My RES female is 2 1/2 years old is about a foot long and weights about 2 pounds. Then there is my male who is the same age (started out alot bigger) now is 8oz and about 5 inches. Is the size difference normal?
