So the last couple times I give dude a soak and he's pottied the stuff that used to be white. Some is still white but some of it's pink and his stool looks like little seeds like cucumber seeds but I don't feed him cucumber should I be worried or is this normal? He hasn't had any food for 6 days. I've been soaking him every other day.

Could they possibly be worms?
Post a pic next time he passes them.

We're off to the vet with little dude tomorrow. I weighed him tonight and 5 days ago he was 1 lb even and tonight he was 0.994 Oz. I think that's like half his body weight isn't it.

One pound is 16 ounces. If your tortoise dropped to 0.994 ounces in five days, it would be dead and completely dehydrated or eaten by something. It seems like you've pushed a button on your scale.

Best to weigh in grams. That's what most of us are familiar with. What species is dude, and how old is he? How many grams?

He is a Russian. The vet weighed him at 426g. I don't know how old he is. The pet store didn't when I bought him. I have to take him back to the vet today for x-rays and blood work. He's about 3 1/2 inches Long and 2 1/2 inches wide...approximately. I moved recently and still haven't found everything. He looks a little yellowish too. 🥺

Well the vet couldn't find anything wrong with him. His mouth it looks good his lungs look good he doesn't have a blockage there's no bacteria in his stool. So I'm going to go out and get a new UV UVB light and see if I can maybe he needs a better light. How many watts or lumens should a UVB light for a tortoise? That's all we can think of. He's not going to hibernate, the vet said he's not in good enough shape his weights too low.
