begging??

I've had Koopa for a full week now. I hand feed him so he can get use to me. He usually explores when he is full. Well today he won't leave. He is just standing infront of me, staring lolol. It's very cute. But I do not want to overfeed him. anyone else dealing with this?

He is seeing you as the food, rather than what you give him, and that is not good. It can cause all sorts of problems.

Put a pile of food in roughly the same size as his shell and leave him to it.

If you want to get your tort settled do it by creating a regular routine of feeding and handling so he knows what to expect and when.

Something like lights on, heat on, soak (when you will be handling him), feed...
