Can anyone tell me the best source of a heat bulb?

I have heard that the normal Incandescent lightbulb give off good heat. I need a better heating bulb for the winter.

Might want to try a halogen bulb that you can pick up at any hardware store or local store. They give out great heat.. Also with halogen bulbs you only need a 35-45 watt bulb and that would do the trick.

I had no luck with halogens giving off heat, but maybe I had a bad batch. You could get a mercury vapor blub. Really good heat and it is also a UVB so its all in one. I love them and swear by them.

If you just want heat, ceramic heat emitters or black lights seem to be the best. I use Google Shopping plus Ebay to price out the best deal (remember to include shipping). I would just look at the name brands for something that may last longer, but that's my preference. I would not use halogen as it doesn't get very hot nor does it give off UVB. Best to have multi purpose bulbs, or if it's just heat, one that doesn't give off light at night for example.
