best way to grow seed mix

Hi I bought a packet of grass weed seed mix but there were no instructions enclosed.
I planted some outside in my Sonoran torts enclosure and some in a large planter so I can use for my Sulcata hatchlings. I was wondering how long it usually takes to sprout? It's been over a week & nothing. Should I move I planter inside ?
I have a black thumb unfortunately and tend to kill everything including cactus lol.
Any tips is greatly appreciated.

All I know is grass seeds cannot dry out. I would throw some more down and water it everyday or twice a day if it's hot in AZ right now.
