I installed a new soak pool for him & Kerry planted a couple tomato plants. Deeper with less surface area will keep it cooler and fuller, the brick makes it comfortable for him.

Did Matt used to live at the 'For Sale' house? If yes, has he suffered relocation stress?

That is an interesting question. I have to move with Edward in August, but I remaking his indoor enclosure as it is now in the new apartment.

Great question Y. Yes he lived indoors throughout the Winter in his huge bin. We carried it out with him in it and slid it into my Expedition. He was a little janky when we got to this house and got his house back on the stand but nothing that lasted more than an hour. I think he was mostly perturbed at us! LOL

He LOVES his new pool. The brick supports him, his poop drops to the bottom leaving him better quality water up high to stick his head in while he searches for whatever he keeps searching for!.

I found what he was searching for....minnows.
He sits like a brown bear waiting for them to flip themselves out...then he dines.

He is seeing fish in his pool for the first time. Kinda cool to watch.

Funniest thing that you ever saw in the world is a box turtle thinking it's going to catch a minnow from the side! He dove in as clunky and his clumsily as possible thinking he was going to catch that minnow! He was disappointed

He's enjoying a "cool trickle" treat. It's 90 something today.
